Project Manager / Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:          

Wick Fisher White is looking for someone to lead design teams through multiple projects of varying scale, from concept through completion. We are seeking a dynamic personality that is able to create and maintain lines of communication with project engineers, firm leadership, and clients.  A successful candidate will be a strong team leader who is goal oriented, organized, efficient, and able to adhere to strict project timelines.  The ideal fit for this role will mentor less experienced engineers in addition to their daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from concept through completion with minimal supervision
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through project work and develop new business
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with project engineers
  • Design air and water side HVAC systems
  • Perform engineering calculations
  • Write and prepare technical reports & specifications
  • Perform energy modeling using industry standard software
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and sub-consultants
  • Travel to client sites as needed

Basic Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ Years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry
  • 5 +Years of experience in project management role
  • Demonstrated strong professional communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • PE License   

Electrical Engineer

Job Description:          

Wick Fisher White is looking for an electrical engineer with demonstrated experience working with SKM software within the construction industry.  We are seeking someone who has a basic understanding of the software and is looking to strengthen those skills and develop office standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Short circuit and coordination studies
  • Arc Flash studies
  • Work with SKM software to perform calculations
  • Develop and maintain office standards for SKM work
  • Design lighting, power, and fire alarm systems for buildings.
  • Write and prepare technical reports & specifications
  • Communicate with other project engineers to coordinate design requirements
  • Survey and document existing conditions
  • Travel to client sites as needed 

Basic Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 5+ Years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • SKM experience
  • Field survey experience 

A   Although not required, an outstanding candidate could have:

  • PE License

 Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer

Job Description:

Wick Fisher White is looking for someone to design plumbing systems. This person should be proficient in fire protection design.  The ideal fit for this role will be an engineer with some experience and is looking to continue to grow their professional skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design plumbing systems: domestic water, sanitary water, lab gas, and medical gas 
  • Design fire protection systems: fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and stand pipes.
  • Communicate with other project engineers to coordinate design requirements
  • Write and prepare technical reports & specifications
  • Survey and document existing conditions
  • Travel to client sites as needed

Basic Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ Years of experience in design of plumbing and fire protection systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD

Although not required, an outstanding candidate could have:
